La cuarta edición del Tour de Salalah la ganó Simon Pellaud (Li Ning Star). El suizo radicado en Medellín ya hace varios años, pasó sin sobresaltos la jornada final y defendió el liderato obtenido desde la segunda etapa para consagrarse campeón.
Los puestos de honor de la carrera omaní del calendario UCI los completaron el argentino Eduardo Sepúlveda (Li Ning Star) y el mongol Tegshbayar Batsaikhan (Roojai Insurance Winspace), quienes se subieron al 2° y 3° del podio, respectivamente.
En cuanto al único colombiano en competencia, el bogotano Alejandro Callejas (Roojai Insurance Winspace) finalizó en la 4° posición a 21 segundos del ganador, mientras que el brasilero Nicolás Sessler (Victoria Sports Pro Cycling) se clasificó en la casilla 13°.
La última etapa la ganó el australiano Cameron Scott (Li Ning Star), quien fue el más rápido en el embalaje final, logrando su quinta victoria en la temporada, luego de recorrer 106 kilómetros entre la localidad de Ain Razat y el Complejo Sultán Qaboos.
