La neerlandesa Nienke Veenhoven (Team Visma-Lease a Bike) <\/strong>obtuvo una c\u00f3moda victoria en la primera etapa de la Volta a Catalunya femenina<\/strong>, con salida y llegada en Santa Susana (Barcelona), tras un recorrido de 91,9 kil\u00f3metros.<\/p>\n

Veenhoven, que alcanz\u00f3 su tercera victoria profesional, super\u00f3 al sprint a su compatriota y compa\u00f1era de equipo, Marianne Vos<\/strong>. Tercera ingres\u00f3 la francesa Valentine Fortin (Cofidis Women Team)<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

En cuanto a las suramericanas en competencia, la mejor fue la chilena Aranza Villal\u00f3n (Eneicat – Be Call)<\/strong>, quien ingres\u00f3 en el pelot\u00f3n en el puesto 57\u00b0 con el mismo tiempo de la ganadora, mientras que la colombiana Gabriela L\u00f3pez (WCC Team) <\/strong>se retir\u00f3.<\/p>\n

La carrera espa\u00f1ola continuar\u00e1 este s\u00e1bado con la disputa de la etapa reina<\/strong>, una jornada de 130 kil\u00f3metros y 3.328 metros de desnivel <\/strong>entre Sant Vince\u00e7 de Castellet y La Molina, con el ascenso al Coll de la Creueta, de categor\u00eda especial, como gran dificultad monta\u00f1osa antes de cruzar la meta.<\/p>\n
