El ecuatoriano Jonathan Caicedo (Wheeltop Rotor Chengdu Team) <\/strong>recuper\u00f3 el liderato del Tour de Qinghai 2026 <\/strong>en la quinta etapa, que se disput\u00f3 entre las localidades chinas de Guide y Gonghe con un recorrido de 135,5 kil\u00f3metros e incluy\u00f3 dos premios de monta\u00f1a en la parte inicial.<\/p>\n

La victoria le correspondi\u00f3 al italiano Christian Bagatin (MBH Bank Ballan Telecom Fort)<\/strong>, quien se escap\u00f3 y lleg\u00f3 en solitario a la meta con m\u00e1s de un minuto de ventaja sobre sus perseguidores. Segundo se report\u00f3 Caicedo <\/strong>y tercero el argentino Eduardo Sepulveda (Li Ning Star)<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

En cuanto a los colombianos, Edward Cruz (Bardiani CSF 7 Saber)<\/strong> se clasific\u00f3 en el puesto 11\u00b0, Mart\u00edn Santiago Herre\u00f1o (Bardiani CSF 7 Saber)<\/strong> ingres\u00f3 en el puesto 12\u00b0 y Hern\u00e1n Aguirre (Qinghai Tianyoude Hotel Cycling Team)<\/strong> finaliz\u00f3 en la posici\u00f3n 18\u00b0, mientras que Santiago Umba (Solution Tech NIPPO Rali) <\/strong>se retir\u00f3.<\/p>\n

En lo referente a la clasificaci\u00f3n general individual, esta sigue muy apretada con el suramericano Jonathan Caicedo (Wheeltop Rotor Chengdu Team)<\/strong> de nuevo al comando, con solo nueves segundos de ventaja sobre el espa\u00f1ol Jan Castell\u00f3n (Caja Rural-Seguros RGA)<\/strong>. El podio parcial lo completa el eritreo Henok Mulubrhan (XDS Astana Team)<\/strong> a 21 segundos del nuevo l\u00edder.<\/p>\n

La carrera asi\u00e1tica continuar\u00e1 este jueves con la sexta etapa<\/strong>, que contar\u00e1 con 233 kil\u00f3metros<\/strong> desde Gonghe hasta Gangcha, con dos puertos de monta\u00f1a en la fase inicial. Primero se subir\u00e1 al Sangchi Tunbao (5.7 km al 5.4%)<\/strong> e inmediatamente despu\u00e9s al Nanshan Luohe (1.6 km al 2.1%)<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n
